Students at Mathematics from The University of Jordan (UJ) will:
- Read and construct correct mathematical proofs and use the library and electronic data-bases to locate information on mathematical problems.
- Explain the impact of mathematical problem solutions in global and social context, follow up contemporary issues, and transfer information to generate knowledge and employ it for future uses.
- Utilize techniques, skills and modern scientific tools such as mathematical packages, statistical software, graphing calculators, and online resources necessary for professional practice.

General requirements
- High school certificate/ diploma, scientific stream Or a High school certificate/ diploma, literary stream
- An authenticated copy of both the civil identification card and Birth Certificate (for Jordanians)
- A copy of the passport
- 3 photos
- Good Reputation and Conduct document and an original certified transcript for those who have been previously enrolled at institutions other than UJ
- The minimum rates of secondary school certificate required to apply for enrollment
- Students holding a Community College Diploma (C.C.D) or equivalent can be admitted (to counterpart programs) according to the following conditions: A student is a holder of a Jordanian Secondary School Certificate or “official” equivalent.
- Student’s average at (C.C.D) must not be less than good or less than (70%) for engineering and pharmacy faculties, (68%) the rest of faculities.
