In just four semesters, the Business Administration programme at the University of St. Gallen (HSG) offers you an internationally recognized, fundamental economics education. This will prepare you for the practical work in the management of private companies, public or non-profit organizations as well as for further studies at Master’s Level.

Besides a profound economic knowledge, competencies such as joined-up thinking, communication and presentation skills, knowledge of informatics, flexibility and tenacity are of great significance for successful activities on the international business stage.
The programme is distinguished by the high level of practical relevance offered by the major in Business Administration: the courses are designed to develop your ability to utilize scientific understanding in practical situations.
In the course of your studies, you complete a Capstone Project in which a consulting team made up of students develops a proposal for a solution to a relevant problem for a company, thus providing an opportunity to apply your knowledge in a practical situation.

a recognised Swiss or Liechtenstein maturity cerificate (Maturität, Matura) or
a Swiss Vocational Maturität (Berufsmaturität) with "Passerelle"
a Swiss Specialised Maturität (Fachmaturität) recognised throughout Switzerland with "Passerelle"

or will acquire one before the start of your chosen degree programme at the HSG.
