BSAC program from Chulalongkorn University, was created to meet increasing needs for chemists with English language proficiency, understanding of market needs and knowledge about the business world in order to help develop successful products and solutions for the real world.

Three excellent and innovative areas in Applied Chemistry program are offered by the program: Industrial Chemistry and Management, Material Chemistry and Environmental Chemistry.

Career

BSAC graduates can become chemists, and researchers working in laboratories both locally and internationally. Other career paths include teaching, new product development for industries, managers in manufacturing industries, Environmental Management, etc.

Programme Structure

Study areas included:

Industrial Chemistry and Management

Designed for future technical managers of chemical-related industries and business. The program balances scientific knowledge with practical aspects of finance, management, and accounting under the perspectives of international quality systems.

Material Chemistry

Designed for undergraduates who want to obtain a deep knowledge in materials science which is a key to the advancement of the economy and current social issues.

Environmental Chemistry

Created for students with an aim for a career in the field of environmental evaluation and risk-assessment. The curriculum focuses on a basis of analytical chemistry with special emphasis on environmental chemistry courses and research project.
