Our Music Business and Events (Hons) course at Leeds Conservatoire is designed for entrepreneurs who are serious about getting their ideas off the ground. Your business plan is at the heart of the curriculum and we support you to generate your own work. Many of our students go on to graduate with their own fully- functioning business in addition to their degree.

Our students progress into the industry, employed in a wide range of roles and as active entrepreneurs. We will help you develop your ideas and achieve your ambitions.

Composition of Course and Delivery Methods

Undergraduate degree courses at Leeds Conservatoire are delivered and supported through a range of teaching and learning strategies. Courses are made up of modules, which are elements of study that are taught and assessed separately. Each module has a clearly defined credit value and each year of study consists of a total of 120 credits. 100 hours of learning is expected for every 10 credits of the course, totalling 1200 hours of learning for each year of study. Academic Entry Requirements: 96 UCAS tariff points from Level 3 studies or equivalent.
A minimum of three GCSEs including English Language at Grade C / Grade 4 or above or equivalent international qualification, e.g. IELTS 6.0 (5.5 in each component).
Other Entry Requirements: Suitability for the Business pathway will be assessed by reference to application forms and personal statements, interviews, and applicants’ portfolios, as appropriate.
