Overview
The first 4 semesters of the undergraduate programme on Cell and Molecular Biology from Universidade Nova de Lisboa work towards building a solid knowledge in supporting scientific areas (e.g. biology, chemistry, biochemistry, genetics etc), which provide sufficient background to enable students to continue with more specialised courses. The last two semesters consist of more specialised classes, such as applied microbiology, immunology, virology, and toxicology.

- Students are admitted to FCT NOVA, through the National Admission and Enrolment System for Higher Education, and register at the Academic Services, within the period set by ministerial dispatch;
- 60% of the final grade obtained in secondary school;
- 40% of the final grade of the specific(s) exam(s);
- Identification document (e.g, passport), mentioning the candidate's nationality;
- Document proving the candidate's current adress;
- Teaching / training diplomas / certificates, namely the qualification that gives access to higher education in the country of origin, with grades and final average;
- Statement on how the candidate complies with the international student status;
- Document confirming payment of the application fee.
