Overview

The MA in International Business with Spanish (Hons) from University of Dundee . has economics at its core, covering micro and macroeconomics. However, it is much broader than a standalone economics degree. It analyses the major external factors affecting global business, globalisation, and applied policy.

We have two International Business courses: a BSc and an MA. The main differences between these are at Levels 1 and 2.

The MA option is for you if you are looking for even greater flexibility and if you have a strong interest in the arts and social science subjects. Along with your compulsory modules you can study across a broad range including History, English, Geography, Politics, or Psychology.

You'll also study one Spanish module per semester in each year, either as a beginner or at intensive level if you have previously studied the language at Higher/A-Level.

Careers and opportunities

Bringing a language skill to your career search is always going to prove advantageous. Especially alongside a degree in International Business.

A range of business-related careers will be open to you. These will be in marketing, finance, administration, statistics, sales, logistics, and human resources.

Opportunities will likely be with organisations that operate globally. The course however will prepare you well for any role in business nationally or internationally.
