Overview

School of Basic Medicine from Huazhong University of Science and Technology is home to a large pool of excellent teaching faculty. The past five years have witnessed 56 talents to be introduced, 44 of whom are from abroad. Currently, we have 162 full-time faculty members, 90% of whom have doctoral degrees, 77% once study abroad, and 13% receive their doctoral degrees from overseas universities.

What you'll learn

Our faculty members undertake the teaching task of basic medical courses for medical students in 12 majors with Clinical Medicine, Preventive Medicine, Stomatology Medicine, Nursing and Medical Laboratory Science included.

We have 7 national first-class courses and compile 14 national textbooks that are included the national "11th and 12th five-year" Textbook Project. In 2018, we were awarded one second prize in the National Teaching Achievements Award, one first prize and two second prizes in the Provincial Teaching Achievements Award.

Photocopy of valid ordinary passport (expiry date should be after October 31, 2023).

Applicants currently residing in China must provide a copy of the page containing a valid visa or residence permit.

High school diploma or proof of impending graduation (for applicants in their final year of study).

High school transcripts.

Certificate of Non-criminal Record.

Financial Certification/Bank Statement(5,000 USD or above).

Personal Statement

Personal Introduction Video: record and submit a video in English or Chinese within 60 seconds.

The previous degree education was instructed in English or mother tongue is English, the English proficiency certificate can be exempted after confirmation.
