This Psychology and Sociology - Undergraduate Foundation Programme at OnCampus Aston is designed to prepare international students, who have completed senior secondary education, for entry to undergraduate studies at Aston University . All students who successfully complete the UFP are guaranteed progression on a suitable programme of undergraduate study at Aston University. The UFP is set at level 3, which is equivalent to A-level standard in the UK.

How long will I study for?

This Psychology and Sociology - Undergraduate Foundation Programme at OnCampus Aston lasts one academic year (nine months). The year is divided into three terms of approximately 10 weeks. On average, you will undertake between 16 and (up to) 22 hours of classroom-based study per week.

How will I be assessed?

Entry IELTS:

From IELTS 4.0 or equivalent (3 semester), IELTS 4.5 or equivalent (2 semester)

Extended programmes are available if you do not yet have the required English language level. This programme lasts 4 terms and includes an English language module (ELPP) followed by the 3 terms of Foundation required to apply for entry to the first year of your undergraduate degree.
For Undergraduate Foundation Programme (UFP), International Year One (IY1) and 2-semester Pre-Master's Programme (PMP) iCAS programmes, students will need to achieve a minimum English level of CEFR B2 (equivalent to IELTS 5.5 with no element below 5.5).
