Overview
The Pharmacology (Hons) programme from University of Hertfordshire is about building a solid foundation in bioscience. You’ll study alongside students from other disciplines. You’ll obtain an initial grounding in chemistry, molecular biology and genetics, microbiology, and human physiology with pharmacology.

- UCAS points: 112–120
- A Level: BBC–BBB. Required subjects: At least two science A Levels, one of which must be a grade C in either Biology or Chemistry (acceptable A Levels are Human Biology, Psychology, Geography, Maths, Physics, ICT and Sports Studies). Pass required in A Level Science practical.
- BTEC: DMM-DDM. Required subject: BTEC Extended Diploma in Applied Science (depending on optional units studied).
- Accepted T Levels: 112–120 UCAS points
- Access Course Tariff: Access to Science Diploma with 45 Level credits at merit profile.
- IB Requirement: 120–128 points from a minimum of two HL subjects at H4 or above to include Biology or Chemistry and one other Science (with the remaining points to come from a combination of HL, SL and Core).
