Overview
Every business is a connected system. People, money, customers, operations and strategy all shape what happens next. To manage well, you need to understand how those pieces work together.
At Kent, you’ll explore business from every angle – from marketing, finance and economics to people management, analytics, operations, entrepreneurship and strategy. But you won’t study them in isolation. You’ll learn how to connect ideas, analyse problems, weigh different perspectives and make confident decisions.
You’ll also look ahead to the challenges shaping business now: new technology, sustainability, changing ways of working and an increasingly interconnected global economy. Through practical learning and real business problems, you’ll build the judgement, adaptability and professional skills to make an impact across industries – or create something of your own.
Business Management with a Foundation Year
The Foundation Year is for students whose school-leaving qualifications are below the level required. It offers one year of full-time study prior to the start of your BSc course. As you progress, you’ll be introduced to the advanced concepts of many business and management disciplines with the flexibility to tailor your course to suit your interests. Once you graduate you’ll have the skills and confidence to lead and inspire others, be innovative, and manage sustainably.
We have a supportive community, where you’ll work closely with your academic adviser and other academic staff. They are experts in all areas of business who will expose you to the right mix of detailed theory and hands-on experience.
