Overview

In the Microelectronic Science and Engineering programme at Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) students will learn about electronics, material science, computer engineering, IC, Micro-Nano processing and other fields that are closely related. They are the foundation of 21st electronic and information technology and play the pivotal role in modern technology and high-end economic development. 

Learning outcomes

The core areas at Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) of microelectronics in our school including semi-conduct physics, electrical functional materials, solid state device, VLSI design, microelectromechanical system and semiconductor manufacturing technology. The major aims at provide the students with solid knowledge and practical skills. The students will learn the design and fabrication skills on advanced electron, optical electronic devices and systems. The graduate students will have proficient English and computer capability, and will be able to work in multidisciplinary research areas. Our graduate students can work in electronics, optical electronic device, IC and system design and fabrication and some other areas.
