General requirements

Who is an international student?
- An applicant must have foreign nationality and has never studied in Taiwan before as an overseas Chinese student at the time of application.
- An applicant has never been admitted through admission placement by the University Entrance Committee for Overseas Chinese studnet in the year of application.
- An applicant must apply in accordance with the "Regulations Regarding International Students Undertaking Studies in Taiwan" by the Ministry of Education.
International applicants:
- with a high school diploma are eligible to apply for undergraduate programmes;
- with a bachelor's degree are eligible to apply for master's degree programmes;
- with a master's degree are eligible to apply for a Ph.D. programsme.
You do not need to Chinese if you intend to enroll in an international degree programme or English-taught programme. You can also attend a language course to improve your Chinese language skills.

First Academic Year: International students wish English Proficiency TOEFL ITP 500 or equivalent official English certificate can get a Providence Grant which is the same amount of tuition fee (TWD. 37,282* 2 semesters).
From the second year: International Students can apply for Providence Grant based on their academic performance and class ranking.
