General requirements
- Students who are looking to transfer to Tampere University from a different university in Finland can apply to transfer from their current programme to Tampere University’s degree programmes in the fields of engineering if they hold a valid right to study towards a bachelor’s degree in an applicable field of study. The applicable fields of study vary between degree programmes. Students who are currently working towards the degree of Bachelor of Science in Technology at Tampere University can apply for transfer to a different specialisation by following a separate internal transfer procedure.
- The principle that a student may accept only one offer of admission from a higher education institution per academic year does not apply to transfer students. Students whose transfer application is accepted must withdraw from their current programme when they accept their place in the new programme.
