Overview
Develop the skills you need for a successful career in accounting as a CPA, CFO, business analyst or managerial accountant, helping organizations make the best financial decisions.
Key Features
Accountants compile, analyze and report financial data, supporting all business disciplines in making high quality decisions. Students wishing to earn their Accounting degree at The University of Arizona must apply to the Eller College of Management, a separate process from admissions to the University. Undergraduates must complete 21 accounting units and 30 professional core units.
Along with a variety of core accounting courses, in their final semester students immerse themselves in a capstone experience that is unique to accounting majors. Accounting students can apply for several scholarships to support their journey through higher education. Graduates go on to find work with corporations, accounting firms, small businesses, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies.
