Overview

Focusing on aviation common core study areas, in your final year of   Aviation BSc program from Abu Dhabi University   you can opt for one of three concentrations: Flight Operations, Infrastructure Operations and Technical Systems. Open elective courses allow you to specialize further and strengthen your professional profile. The program includes practical exposure using flight training devices and various real and fast-time simulation platforms.

Originally the program was established to train students sponsored by Etihad to become future pilots but has evolved to meet the needs of the aviation industry more comprehensively, giving you more options for aviation career routes and has been benchmarked against similar programs internationally. 

Career opportunities 

Graduates are equipped to work in a variety of sectors of the aviation industry including ground support services and operations in airports, in industry and state safety oversight, or in the aerospace industry.

Flight safety and aviation regulation, business analysis and aviation research and development, and commercial and customer operations are other sectors relevant to graduates of this program.

Graduates with a concentration in Flight Operations are also well prepared to continue training within flight schools and obtain a commercial or airline pilot license. Many graduates of this program have become pilots for leading airlines such as Etihad Airways
