The program is focused on personal development, and mirrors a progression in hotel hierarchy. You will start with a solid grounding in hospitality service fundamentals, followed by courses on managerial competencies, and continue on to advanced management skills. In the final year, you will consolidate everything you have learned through an external consulting mandate or an individual applied research project. You will also undertake two internships, one in operations and one in management, which will provide the real-life experience needed for a flying start to your career.

English Language Requirements

You only need to take one of these language tests:

  • Minimum required score: 7

    The IELTS – or the International English Language Test System – tests your English-language abilities (writing, listening, speaking, and reading) on a scale of 1.00–9.00. The minimum IELTS score requirement refers to which Overall Band Score you received, which is your combined average score. Read more about IELTS.

  • Minimum required score (Grade B): 193

    The CAE test – or the Cambridge Advanced English – is an exam for applicants who wish to get a Certificate in Advanced English. To receive the Advanced certificate, test-takers must score between 142 and 210 on the Cambridge English: Advanced test. Read more about CAE.

    Note: degree programmes and applications may require a more specific minimum score for admission.

  • Minimum required score: 100

    The TOEFL – or Test Of English as a Foreign Language – offers an internet-based test (iBT). The final, overall iBT score ranges between 0 and 120, and includes a scaled average from the four components (reading, listening, speaking, and writing). Read more about TOEFL (iBT).

Academic Requirements

The basic academic requirement is completion of a final secondary school diploma that leads to university admission in the country where the student completed his or her secondary education.
  • Candidates presenting an IB diploma are expected to achieve a minimum of 28 points to be eligible for admission.
  • Candidates enrolled in the British secondary education curriculum are expected to present at least 3 A Levels with an average grade of B, with no grade under C. 
  • Candidates enrolled in the American secondary education curriculum are expected to present their High School Diploma plus evidence of higher achievement (3 AP or IB Higher Level certificates or SAT II subject tests), plus satisfactory SAT 1 or ACT results.
