Overview

The Information Systems programme at Ajman University has the following goals:

• Utilize their acquired technical, soft skills, and knowledge in information systems to pursue a rewarding and successful career in the public sector, private sector, or academia locally or internationally.

• Act as effective individuals, team members, or leaders who can address data information systems-related technical, business, and ethical challenges.

• Engage in lifelong learning and professional development through self-study and professional or graduate studies in information systems or related fields.

Career Opportunities:

Information systems graduates are required to meet the demands of various stakeholders including industry, commerce, education, health, and government. Information Systems graduates can undertake a variety of job positions at both the managerial and technical levels.

• Computer Systems Analysts

• Information Technology Project Manager

• Web/Internet Support Specialists

• AU is globally accredited at the institution-level by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC) of the USA and Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) of the UK. In addition, many of AU’s programmes are accredited by international accreditation bodies.
