Overview

The course will develop your understanding of the complexities of human behaviour, and the professional, ethical, and social contexts of the science and practice of psychology.

As part of this course you will also conduct an independent research project that will be written as a thesis and may lead to publication.

General requirements

Applicants must meet the following minimum entry requirements:

completion of a qualifying psychology degree which is accredited by the Australian Psychological Accreditation Council (APAC) or equivalent within the last 10 years. The qualifying degree can be either:

a three year undergraduate psychology course or

a Graduate Diploma for candidates who previously completed an undegraduate degree in a different discipline
Credit average in the APAC-required second and third year psychology units or graduate diploma units.
