With this degree you could become anything from a sports scientist, to a fitness centre manager, a cardiac technician to an elite sports coach – you may even be able to pursue research in exercise science or apply for post-graduate study in areas such as exercise physiology, cardiac technology, physiotherapy, dietetics, rehabilitation, and medicine! The only limit is your imagination! 

The Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science at the University of Tasmania is a three year degree taught at the University of Tasmania in beautiful Launceston. During your course, you will undertake placements and hands-on practical experience. This ensures that you graduate job ready and eligible for accreditation as an exercise scientist from Exercise & Sport Science Australia (ESSA). 

To give you a head start, we also offer a one-year relocation bursary to all eligible exercise science students entering first year so you can settle in to life in Tasmania and get on with study without the financial hassle!
