Overview

The Marketing Management (Hons) programme at Beijing Normal University - Hong Kong Baptist University United International College  prepares students to thoroughly and coherently explain marketing theories and apply these principles and theories in real-world context.

The general educational objectives of the Programme are to enable students to benefit from a broad-based education as they pursue a business education with a specialization in Marketing Management, and to develop their problem-solving, decision-making, and innovative thinking skills to handle real-life challenges. 

Accordingly, students will be required to study a range of general education, business and marketing courses to achieve a balanced liberal arts and business education. This is consistent with UIC’s mission of providing its students with a whole person education that prepares them for lifelong learning. The marketing management courses are designed to provide an even more focused education in the major specialism.

Career Prospects

The programme will equip graduates with the academic training as well as analytic and decision-making skills in marketing management required for pursuing careers in a wide range of professions. 

They include, among others, business development, corporate communications, public relations, sales management, non-government organizations, conference and exhibition, recreation, sports, civil service, media and entertainment.

Mainland China Applicants:

Mainland Chinese students who have sat the P.R.C. National College Entrance Examination (NCEE) of the current year, and have met the college entrance benchmark are eligible to apply.

Overseas Applicants:

An applicant from overseas other than Hong Kong or Macau may apply for admission with qualification acceptable to the College, and will be considered on an individual basis.
