An important aspect is, of course, the technology: machines, means of transportation, operation rooms or computers. In addition, it is important how people treat one another and how they are assessed. The methods used for planning and management play a role in how certain resources are deployed and how data and information should be used. Being able to correctly evaluate these aspects of business processes, you know which buttons to press to make the organization run smoothly and enhance performance. Since you have already worked with many companies and institutions during your studies, you as a graduate engineer in Industrial Engineering know what the market has in store. As industrial engineer you are the integrator who combines the various disciplines and finds solutions

Programme Structure

A bachelor's degree at TU/e is three years and consists of various learning activities:

Projects – you choose the projects that fit your learning objectives.
Engineering courses – the solid foundation you need as an engineer.
Basic courses – including analytics, mathematics, physical sciences and technical design.
Electives and USE courses (User, Society and Enterprise) – you develop your competences in specific engineering courses.
External learning activities – internships, courses at other Dutch universities, or a foreign exchange program.
