Overview

The International Business with Spanish (Hons) programme from University of Dundee option is for you if you want to study more business specific subjects. In the first two years, you focus on business, management, economics and finance related core modules.

The course has economics at its core, covering micro and macroeconomics. However, it is much broader than a standalone economics degree. It analyses the major external factors affecting global business, globalisation, and applied policy.

We have two International Business courses: a BSc and an MA. The main differences between these are at Levels 1 and 2.

You'll also study one Spanish module per semester in each year, either as a beginner or at intensive level if you have previously studied the language at Higher/A-Level.

Bringing a language skill to your career search is always going to prove advantageous. Especially alongside a degree in International Business.

A range of business-related careers will be open to you, in marketing, finance, administration, statistics, sales, logistics, and human resources. Your key opportunities will likely be with organisations that operate globally, but the course will prepare you well for any role in business nationally or internationally.

International Business is dual accredited by CMI. This means that you will automatically receive a second professional qualification upon successful completion of your degree.
