Overview
The Aeronautical and Airworthiness Engineering programme at University of Trinidad and Tobago is structured to include the complete set of TTCAA/EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) regulated Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AME) courses for each area of specialisation.
Learning outcomes
A key element of the programme construct is the inclusion of engineering courses grounded in mathematics, science, and design as well as ethical and environmental conscientiousness. It includes aeronautical engineering courses in structural design, materials selection, flight mechanics modelling, aircraft performance, stability and control, simulation, automation and testing of aircraft and/or components for return to service
These when combined with the regulatory technical content of the AME, will prepare graduates to function in engineering design, investigative, repair, continued airworthiness and overhaul functions in Aviation Maintenance and Air Operator Organizations.
