Overview

At Performance and Pedagogy of Northern Caribbean University graduates will be able to continue in Graduate studies leading to degrees in a variety of areas such as performance, pedagogy, theory and composition, musicology, church music and music therapy.

Students pursuing this major must pass the Theory Placement Entrance Exam and an audition on the instrument in which they intend to major. Only those who have achieved a high level of performance skills on their instrument, prior to applying, will be admitted to this degree programme.

Have five (5) GCE/CSEC passes including Math and English (CSEC General Proficiency grade I, II, or III; GCE at grade A, B or C) or equivalent.
Appear before the Music faculty for an audition in their performance medium and pass the Music Theory Placement Examination, before or during orientation week.
