Overview

Criminological work at a crime scene, law and quality assurance supplement the scientific syllabus. Lecture languages: 50% German, 50% English.

At Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences, the bilingual study programme BSc Forensic Sciences provides practice-based specialist knowledge and methodic competence in forensic analysis with an emphasis on chemistry, material sciences and biology.

The standard period of study for obtaining the BSc degree is six semesters, including a final project.

Career Opportunities

Graduates of our study programme Forensic Sciences are primarily scientists who apply their competence to assist the police, judiciary and insurance companies as well as public authorities in their work.

Due to their broad scientific education in the areas of chemical and biological analysis, material science and quality assurance our graduates are also employable in all areas of the private industry that deal with analytical problems – whether in laboratories, physical and quality control or in production processes.
