Overview
This International Year One in International Business, Accounting and Finance program from INTO Manchester is available to study either on campus or online – giving you the flexibility to choose what’s best for you.
You’ll need to meet any visa requirements and demonstrate good attendance and performance during your studies online.
If you’re applying for an Online Extended program, you’ll be offered an Online Academic English plus online or on-campus academic pathway study plan.

How will I be assessed?
Progress is monitored by continuous assessment of coursework and by the use of class tests.
The final grade for each unit is based on a mixture of coursework and end-of-module examinations. Successful students will achieve grades distinction, merit, credit or pass for each of the modules.
Basic information will be delivered in lectures, and an understanding of the subject and the ability to utilise the information supported by tutorial work and by extensive e-learning provision.
Assessment will be by:
- coursework - prepared assignments, module tests etc
- end-of-course module examinations
Academic guidance
You will receive support from your tutor on personal and academic issues, including advice on your studies and career plans. We also have a Placement Co-ordinator who will help with your application to the chosen university and arrange visits to help you learn more about your chosen degree.
Students should be aware that:
- the International Year One does not replace the International Foundation programme. Students require a Foundation programme, A-levels, or a similar level qualification for entry to the International Year One programme
- students' previous educational performance will be considered in their university admission, in particular to selective universities and/or degree programme
- students are not guaranteed a place at any particular NCUK university

- Academic requirements: Successful completion of A-levels, a recognised Foundation, first year of an overseas university degree or equivalent with good grades. Applicants must have a minimum of GCSE grade 4/C in Mathematics or equivalent.
