The courses in this programme represent perspectives based on the theory which is closely linked to the practical application in the world of the language, culture, art, education and communication.
Program Goals
The main goals of the English Language and Literature programme of the South East European University are:- To prepare the students for the leadership positions in the educational, cultural, and scientific institutions and organizations in the country and anywhere in the world.
- To prepare the students to build a career related to their profession in the public, private and non-governmental sector.
- To offer a variety of modules which include basic knowledge of the professions which more or less are linked to education and culture.
- To give opportunities to gain research skills and language and literature experience in the public, private and other organizations.
- To develop the concept of critical thinking.
- To enable the students to actively participate in the lectures and do autonomous research in all the fields of the social, educational, cultural and scientific organizations
- To give opportunities for development of the personal skills, the communicative skills, research skills and other valuable skills which are needed for employment.

General requirements
- Online completed Application form
- Application fee in amount of 1500 MKD (25 Euro)
- A short biography/motivation letter consisting of at least 500 words in which candidates should state their motivation for applying to SEEU.
- Original transcripts or notarized copies for all years (if high school is completed according to 9+3 model, candidates are required to submit the 9th grade transcript as well).
- Original high school diploma or notarized copy with the results from the state Matura.
- Birth certificate.
- Photo copy of ID or passport.
- All candidates will have to take English language testing. For the study programmes offered in the English language, the minimum requirements for English proficiency are: level B1 (independent user) in accordance to the Common European Language Framework (CEFR).
