The Banking and Finance (Hons) course at Anglia Ruskin University offers a practical, hands-on learning experience. With our Bloomberg Financial Markets Lab, industry connections, and optional placements and internships, you’ll learn in a unique university environment.

Careers

There are exciting career opportunities across a range of banking and finance disciplines, in both the private and public sectors.

With your Banking and Finance degree, you may wish to move into a role in the financial markets, in areas such as FX management, derivative markets or equity fund management, or you could opt to gain experience in the banking sector in areas such as credit risk management, or mergers and acquisitions. You may even decide to start your own business.

Throughout your degree you’ll come into regular contact with a number of professional bodies which will allow you to network and create contacts.

96 UCAS Tariff points from a minimum of 2 A Levels (or equivalent).
3 GCSEs at grade C, or grade 4, or above, including English and Maths.
If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.0 (Academic level) or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognised by Anglia Ruskin University.
GCE A levels from a recognised UK examination board.
An International Baccalaureate with a minimum of 24 points.
