Overview
Program Objectives
Graduates of the Chemical Engineering program at METU Middle East Technical University will:
- have successful careers in chemical engineering practice and research in industry, government agencies, business and/or universities
- demonstrate leadership qualities within their chosen career path
- successfully earn advanced degrees or certificates where appropriate to pursue their chosen careers
- conduct themselves with the highest standards of ethical practice and careful consideration of the societal and global responsibilities of the engineering profession.

General requirements
- The photograph should be 4.5x6 cm. in size, colored, and taken in the last 6 months to enable the applicant to be clearly recognized.
- Candidates with passports need to upload the page of their passports with the identification information/ identification page of their passports, without having to get any approval.
- The original high school diploma and its translation (Turkish or English) need to be uploaded.
- An Equivalence Letter from the Ministry of Education of Türkiye or from Turkish Embassies which certify that the diploma is equivalent to a Turkish High School Diploma is not required for the application.
- Applicants need to submit an official transcript of high school courses and grades sealed and approved by their high-school administration.
- The exam result to be used in the application (SAT, GCE, International Baccalaureate, etc.) needs to be uploaded.
