Key Features

METU BA's undergraduate program philosophy is akin to the other prominent business schools around the world. With its contemporary and innovative curriculum, the objective of the undergraduate program is to educate future business leaders who make a difference in the world.

During the first two years in the Business Administration program from METU Middle East Technical University, students are offered required courses in two types of content:

Functional areas of business (accounting, finance, operations, marketing, human resources, organizations, and management science
Tools used in business decisions (microeconomics, macroeconomics, statistics, behavioral sciences, calculus, English as a second language, and introduction-level law

These courses allow the students to develop a sense of the meaning of business and management and expose them to different functional areas. The expectation for the first two years of their business education is for the students to (i) develop a keen understanding of the functional areas and, (ii) through self-reflection and guidance from the Department, arrive at a decision regarding the particular functional area(s) that they may want to pursue after graduation. Hence, the first two years set the stage for the third and fourth years of their education.

General requirements

The photograph should be 4.5x6 cm. in size, colored, and taken in the last 6 months to enable the applicant to be clearly recognized.
Candidates with passports need to upload the page of their passports with the identification information/ identification page of their passports, without having to get any approval.
The original high school diploma and its translation (Turkish or English) need to be uploaded.
An Equivalence Letter from the Ministry of Education of Türkiye or from Turkish Embassies which certify that the diploma is equivalent to a Turkish High School Diploma is not required for the application.
Applicants need to submit an official transcript of high school courses and grades sealed and approved by their high-school administration.
The exam result to be used in the application (SAT, GCE, International Baccalaureate, etc.) needs to be uploaded.
