The declared goal of the International Business Administration program at European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder)is to offer you an interdisciplinary study program at a high academic level that prepares you for the demands of an international job market. The numerous international university cooperations, which not only enable you to study abroad, but also to participate in attractive double programs with partner universities, contribute to this in particular. The descriptions of the offered majors also show you the perspectives of your studies. Accompanying this, we offer extensive language training.

With its three faculties of Social and Cultural Studies, Law and Business Administration and Economics, the Viadrina is a comparatively small university that allows you to study in a personal atmosphere. In small multicultural groups, you will receive first-class support during your studies, which should lead you to graduation within six semesters.

General requirements

The requirement for admission to study is basically a university entrance certificate (high school diploma, Abitur).

During the first three semesters of the program, English is the predominant instruction and examination language. Language knowledge in English will be expected.

Prospective students should have interest and a certain basic understanding of mathematical problems and should preferably be able to:

work independently, that is, that given complex problems should be structured in such a way that a problem-solving approach and a mathematical model would be found,
to solve equations with variables in any form,
to derive functions and
to solve basic optimization problems.
