About

The main objective of this Biology course at University of Madeira is the acquisition of the necessary skills for the understanding, analysis and interpretation of processes and biological patterns, allowing for a high quality and in depth professional performance rooted in a multidisciplinary curriculum framework which seeks to provide a solid and integrated scientific education.

Overview

The acquisition of practical skills is ensured throughout the course via fieldwork and laboratorial training, encouraging the development of skills related to the collection and selection of samples and interpretation of scientific information.
