Overview
During the Equine Performance Coaching programme of Warwickshire College, students will develop a portfolio of coaching experience teaching a range of equestrian disciplines. They will also benefit from facilities such as our Rider Performance Laboratory including horse simulator and strength and conditioning gym to analyse rider performance. Throughout the course, students will be able to supplement their learning by completing a 1st4Sport equestrian coaching qualification, which is an industry recognised qualification enabling students to coach in the industry post successful completion of the degree.

This degree will not only prepare you for job opportunities directly within the area of equitation coaching but also, within the ever developing areas of sports coaching performance and psychology.

General requirements
- Applicants will be expected to have at least 104 UCAS points which may be derived from a Level 3 qualification in a related subject or A Levels, ideally including one Science subject.
- Applicants will also need five GCSEs at grade 4 or above (or equivalent) including English Language, Science and Mathematics.
- Applicants will normally be expected to have some prior equine handling experience.
- The college would consider applications from mature students with relevant work experience who may not have related formal academic qualifications.
- The college welcomes applications from students with disabilities.
