Overview

It intends to associate an adequate theoretical training, namely in the domains of materials physics and chemistry, with a strong technological component.

Additionally, the students should acquire adequate knowledge in the area of material selection and several material characterization techniques.

The domain of the Materials Engineering course at University of Minho corresponds to a very important subject in developed countries, where large research investments are made, and it is also the centre of activity of many high technology industries.

Careers
