Overview

We offer a bachelor degree in Oriental Studies - Chinese and Japanese Studies at University of Minho. The teaching of Chinese language uses the Chinese HSK official examination criteria. After studying Chinese for three years, the students are strongly recommended to broaden their Chinese language skills by enrolling in a Master’s degree.

There is also the possibility to study Japanese language through one-semester mobility in Japan.

After a master’s degree, several career opportunities are available to the student that can enter the labor market in the fields of translation, educational, entrepreneurial and tourist activities.
