The Interior Design program at American University in Dubai is complemented with extensive Accreditation & Associations that position it on the global landscape. In addition, the program enforces ethical values in relation to the Interior Design profession, ethnic and cultural diversity, and environmental considerations.

AUD is the first university in the region to offer a concentration in Integrated Computational Design and specifically a Building Information Modeling (BIM) application course within its Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design program. A concentration in Hospitality Design is offered to students majoring in Architecture or Interior Design, allowing students to explore the hospitality field in depth.

The Interior Design Program at The American University in Dubai is aimed at producing a highly qualified career-oriented graduate who is able to integrate art, design, technology and business practice. In addition, the program enforces ethical values in regards to the profession and ethnic and cultural diversity, as well as environmental considerations.

A high school/secondary school certificate or equivalent from an institution accredited by the Ministry of Education in the U.A.E. or by the relevant national or regional institutional accrediting body;
International TOEFL®or Academic IELTSTM or the equivalent score on another internationally-recognized English exam. PBT is accepted from specific centers in the UAE.

The University administers the ACCUPLACERTM Exam (Math) to place students at the appropriate mathematics level. Students may substitute the SAT for this, depending on the score.
