General Remarks

As a graduate of the Information Systems program of the University of New York Tirana, one may work for a large organization, specializing in one aspect of information technology; or, one may work for a small firm and offer support in several of the firm’s information technology areas. In either case, one’s job will involve: working with people and help them understand how they best do their jobs and how computers are most effective; implementing computer-based solutions identified; training people to use the information systems; installing and troubleshooting hardware, software, networks; and helping management understand and plan for the best new technologies to integrate in the organization’s business processes.
