Studying Engineering (Honours) - Information Technology program from James Cook University offers unique opportunities for you to gain expertise in the particular challenges and demands of engineering in the tropics. As JCU is located between two World Heritage areas – the Great Barrier Reef and the Wet Tropics rainforests – you have access to some of the world’s most spectacular natural tropical laboratories, which provide the impetus for much of the discipline’s research work.

As well as studying Information Technology subjects you can choose from five different Engineering majors. The electronic systems and internet of things major is only available at the Cairns campus while all other majors are only available at the Townsville campus.
