Programme Structure

The degree programme of Software Engineering is closely connected to working life. The objective of the programme is to educate specialized software professionals who have the competence of software engineer, software developer or web application developer. The studies focus on the most important technologies and methods used in modern software development. Internet of Things, big data, project management and other important topics of today are also covered. During the studies you will adopt the methods and practices used in the software enterprises and you will apply the acquired skills in projects and practical trainings.

Academic Requirements

  • This programme does not require an IELTS and/or TOEFL test. The admissions process of the programme includes its own language assessment component.
  • Eligibility for the degree programme is given by the general eligibility for bachelor’s degrees in universities of applied sciences in Finland. 
  • Sufficient English language skills are also required for degree programmes conducted in English. English language skills will be evaluated as part of the entrance exam.
