Overview

Throughout the Psychology - Education and Child Development Perspectives (Hons) course of Leeds Trinity University will help you to develop your critical and analytical skills by exploring the theory-practice relationship. 

You’ll also complete two professional work placements during your degree, and have the opportunity to apply your knowledge, understanding and skills in child-centred organisations.

The first year of the course introduces you to the core areas of psychology: biological, cognitive, developmental, social and individual differences. You’ll also learn about a range of research methods used within psychology to gain insight into human behaviour. In addition, you will be introduced to the science and practice of child and educational psychology.
