Students of the English Language and Literature programme from Yasar University are educated to become experts capable of analysing the connections between literature and culture, and to be aware of the close relationship between the anthropological disciplines.

Careers

Graduates of the department may work as English teachers in primary or secondary education provided they meet the requirements of the Ministry of National Education; as self-employed entrepreneurs working as translators or literary critics; in media and press management positions; or as executive assistants in international institutions.
