Overview

The bachelor degree of (Hons) Electromechanical Engineering Technology at University of Kuala Lumpur is a combination of electrical and mechanical systems knowledge and skills. The use of high technology and new methods in the industrial electromechanical installations requires skilled ‘knowledge workers’ who can fully support the advanced systems used. A skilled workforce is needed to assist in the design, to analyze, to manage and to maintain the advanced electromechanical installations of the country. The holistic approach will be achieved through the combination of knowledge and skills in both electrical and mechanical fields.

Graduates will be likely be employed by industries in the lucrative sectors such as the following

Transportation industry with main products employing electric drive in railway, light rail transit and electric drives especially terrestrial transportation.
Plants using electrical equipment with associated drives such as refineries in oil and gas sectors, process control companies etc.
Manufacturers/designers employing/producing electric drives products.
Energy Providers (Utility Supply, Independent Power Producers etc )

Academic Documents (school certificates and transcripts). You may refer Malaysia Qualification Agency (MQA) guidelines for the level of programme you can apply according to your current school certificate.

Proof of English Proficiency (IELTS, TOEFL or equivalent for Diploma/Bachelor programmes). If you do not have English proficiency certificate, you will automatically join UniKL English Language Intensive Programme (E-LIP)
Student must complete 12 years of schooling and obtain general pass in their High School Certificate, A-levels or equivalent with min Grade C (60%) in Mathematics and one of the Science subjects (such as Physics, Chemistry or Biology – depending on the programme)
