Overview
The Radio, Television, and Cinema department at Yasar University looks to its experienced academic staff, to educate students to become the next generation of professionals in the cinema and film world. Graduates are known for their creativity and talent, and through the training given, fully meet the requirements of the film and media industries.
The courses in the Department of Radio, Television, and Cinema are given in classrooms with advanced audio-visual equipment and IT infrastructure. Students can also gain practical work experience from working on projects and production practice in the photography, television and radio facilities in the Media Centre and Multimedia Laboratory within the university.
Career opportunities
The graduates of the Radio, Cinema and Television Department can be employed by the film industry, by television companies working on news and programme production, by entertainment production companies, advertising agencies and media research companies. Graduates may also pursue careers as directors, cinematographers, editors, scriptwriters, producers or media researchers, in areas related to their specialised interests and talents.
