The selection of students for admission to undergraduate programmes in Universities is carried out by the University Grants Commission based on the admission policy laid out by them with the concurrence of the government.

The students to be eligible to the BSc Hons (FM) degree programme should have taken Combined Mathematics or Accountancy at the General Certificate of Examinations (Advanced Level). Further , they should have taken two other subjects from the following: Chemistry, Higher Mathematics; Physics, Economics; Business Statistics, Business Studies, Hard Technology.
