Overview
In order to qualify for admission into the School of Law's programme in Laws (Honours), a student already admitted to a degree programme of the University of Namibia in a School other than the School of Law, should attain an overall average of 65%, at the end of the first year of study provided he/she did not fail any Course in that Faculty.

We also host the Justice Training Centre (JTC) which offers practical legal training to candidate legal practitioners in terms of the Legal Practitioners Act, 15 of 1995.

General requirements
- A candidate may be admitted if they hold:
- a School Leaving Certificate with at least 35 points on the UNAM scale in five subjects: 3 NSSCAS subjects with average D or higher, 2 NSSCO subjects with D or higher, and English at minimum B at NSSCO level; OR
- a Namibian Senior Secondary Certificate (Ordinary or Higher Level) or recognized equivalent with 35 points in five subjects and at least B in English as a Second Language; OR
- a degree from UNAM or recognized institution; OR
- a two-year NQF Level 5 Diploma in Law with at least 240 credits and overall average of 60% from UNAM or recognized institution.
