This small-scale and intensive program will intellectually challenge you, teach you to find creative solutions and sharpen your critical thinking. Throughout the program, you will have plenty of personal guidance from both your academic advisor and the professors who will provide you with feedback on your course work.
The Bachelor’s program in Liberal Arts and Sciences offers you a broad and interdisciplinary spectrum of courses.
- In your first year, you will get acquainted with various academic disciplines within the social sciences and humanities: philosophy, law, sociology, psychology, cognitive neuroscience, politics, and economics. In the second part of the year, you choose your major.
- In the second year, you will integrate your disciplinary knowledge with interdisciplinary societal themes, tackling real-world problems together with students from the 3 different majors.
- Your third and final year is about application and impact. You broaden your perspective through a minor or exchange abroad, and bring your learning together in two complementary final projects: the Bachelor's Thesis and the Societal Capstone.

You start building your own Liberal Arts and Sciences pathway by choosing one of three majors:
- Interdisciplinary Social Sciences: study how people and communities organize, interact, and drive change. Combine sociology with economics and business to explore inequality, migration, diversity, and polarization.
- Cognitive Neuroscience and Behavior: explore how the human brain shapes thought, emotion, and behavior. Integrate cognitive neuroscience and psychology to understand perception, decision-making, and social interaction.
- Law, Politics, and Culture: connect law, philosophy, political theory, and cultural studies to analyze how democracy, justice, and meaning are created and contested.
