The programme is one of its kind, and is amongst the select few being offered in Pakistan. The focus of the Public Administration program of the National University of Sciences and Technology is on the issues that beset Pakistan in the public sector, and aims at providing a feasible solution in terms of having a stream of public servants, who could lead the country on the path towards development and progress.

Associated Careers

This programme provides aspiring civil servants a solid foundation through which they appear in the highly competitive Central Superior Services (CSS) examinations. After successful completion of 133 credits of BS Public Administration programme, students have a choice and requisite eligibility of appearing in the CSS examinations. This programme also allows them to jointhe corporate sector, in segments that often need to interact with the government, as these graduates have been suitably trainedin the same through this degree.

Students, after the completion of their BS Public Administration programme, can also go on to pursue postgraduate degrees inPublic Administration. This may lead them to, amongst other paths, a research track from where they could contribute, in termsof adding knowledge, to the current practices in Public Administration.
