Overview
The main objective of the Veterinary Medicine (Honours) program of University of Namibia is to provide education and training, aimed at producing quality graduates in the field of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
Objectives
- To conduct research relevant to Namibia’s environment, natural resources and agriculture.
- To provide advisory, consultancy and extension services on the proper sustainable use of Namibia’s agricultural and natural resources.
- To help create meaningful employment in both public and private sector, including self-employment.

- Admission to the six-year fully-fledged Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine Programme requires 30 points from five subjects including a “B” symbol in English, Biology, Mathematics, and Physical Science (or Chemistry) at NSSC Ordinary Level or a 3 grade or higher in Mathematics and Physical Science (or Chemistry) at NSSC Higher Level

- Radiological Report
- Deed of Surety Form
- Medical Certificate (original)
- Two (2) Passport size photos
- Admission letter from UNAM
- Proof of Registration from UNAM
- Proof of accommodation in Namibia
- Completed main application form and visa form
- Police Clearance from home country (compulsory)
- Reasons for studying in Namibia (write one paragraph)
- Proof of medical aid/ insurance (valid and active)*
