The Nursing program of Shiraz University of Medical Sciences aims at training registered nurses to conduct efficient patient and client’s care in all nursing specialties, as well as expert human resources in the field of nursing in order to maintain and improve science and compensate the shortage of experts in education and service.

Nurses may be differentiated from other health care providers by their approach to patient care, training, and scope of practice. Nurses practice in many specialisms with differing levels of prescriber authority.

A satisfactory academic record: Applicants must obtain a record of transcripts from the institution they have attended. There is no minimum required GPA to secure admission to an undergraduate program. However, competitive applicants have the GPA of 3.00 or above.
