Our curriculum focuses on

• Build a strong foundation in mechanical engineering, including thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, materials, manufacturing, robotics and control systems.
• Tailor your learning through four focus areas: robotics engineering, aerospace engineering, energy and sustainability, and materials and manufacturing.
• Gain hands-on experience through design projects, laboratories and research opportunities, preparing you to solve real-world engineering challenges.

Exciting Opportunities

The programme enables students to develop solid foundations in engineering through active learning, capstone experience, hands-on activities, internship and exchanges studies. Students also have the chance to participate in experiential learning activities in the form of local and international competitions like the AIAA Design/Build/Fly Competition, Formula Student UK, Formula SAE China and Robocon competition.

Graduates are prepared to pursue various career paths, including research and development, manufacturing, design, and consulting. They may also choose to pursue further education, such as a master's or doctoral degree, to specialize in a particular area of mechanical engineering.
